About Us
Rescate Playas Borinquen is a community stewardship initiative dedicated to the restoration and protection of natural resources and outdoor recreation areas around the 642 acres of Punta Borinquen in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, with the vision of creating an ecological and recreational corridor in the northwest for the island.
Why are we different?
What makes us different from most other environmental organizations is that our group takes things a step further than just “mere” trash collection, education, and conservation. We are actively hands-on, engaged in public placemaking; physical infrastructure repair and construction. True community revival and empowerment!
